Emmegi, thanks to its experience in sawing and machining centres for aluminium bars, introduces Quadra L1, a unique machine thanks to its operating functions and wealth of features. The machine has been conceived to avoid most profile related adjustments and the need of dedicated counter blocks for supporting different types of sections, consequently increasing production efficiency. Quadra L1 is a 12 axis CNC, with bar-loading magazine up to 7500 mm in length and an automatically positioned profile pusher unit. The machining head assembly is mounted onto a rotary bearing on which it is possible to install up to 6 electro spindles rated at 5,6 kW. The head assembly can rotate 360 degrees allowing the machining of the profile on all faces at any angle. A 3 axis CNC controls the milling and 600 mm diameter blade cutting unit (with descending movement) completes the machine function. An extraction system transports the pieces onto an unloading magazine, where the operator collects the finished pieces. Quadra L1 is fully integrated: from feeding to clamping, machining and cutting to unloading, everything is automatic, precise and quick.
